It's definitely not elevator music, in fact it's a nice vintage mambo/Latin jazz track, although I don't consider it a good choice for dancing purposes. For one thing it starts off fast fast then later speeds up. Also there's at least 1 clave discrepancy, and I think the rhythm section would be better off playing more typical Cuban patterns. And it's nearly 6 minutes, which for a way out, fast track is a long time.
This is closest to elevator music that was played tonight. I didn't know the song, so Shazamed to update @DJ Yuca on latest in Europe.
Anyone knows the musical references here? I've heard some, but can't remember.

Much of piano solos. But I can't put a finger what it is. Maybe some classical music, maybe Spanish. Let's try to summon @Latinjazz to straighten this out.I don't recognise any references to anything. Which sections are you referring to?
Never hear of this band before. Any other suggestions?
I only just heard of them myself via this thread https://www.salsaforums.com/threads/karen-cruz-and-jacopo-tavana-berlinsc.43132/, so no well settled recommendations, but...Never hear of this band before. Any other suggestions?
