How to avoid or reduce getting sweat at dancing

I don't mind as long as the follower is conscious of it and is acknowledging it may be off-putting; can be just a shrug or whatever. Otherwise it seems they don't have the manners of social courtesy add to the blacklist?). Leading a slick back difficult so I try to use a combo of open and close hold to try to let their back dry and/or offer my (only new and never used handkerchief. My primary point of sweat is my brow so I can use the sleeves of my shirt).

Now if the sweat like a water fountain, this is a whole different story..

I sweat like a f'n pig and haven't had any problems since I got decent at dancing. Thankfully I don't smell unless I haven't showered all week, or was stress sweating recently. I'm still self conscious of it. (and I do shower daily. lol) I try to make a joke of it - if she had to touch a sweaty part of my body or clothes, I'll bust out my towel and wipe it real quick or something.

Do you live in the States? I've noticed that shower gels there tend to leave a film on your body. Maybe they also clog pores or something.
I’m in the UK, the shower gel brand I use is Lynx (named Axe in the US). I dont think it leaves a film on me.
There have been times when I used shampoo as shower gel and that left quite a silky/tacky feel on my skin.

I was just guessing. Anti prespirants work by blocking sweat glands. Maybe some shower gels do that too.

Uniqlo has this line of moisture wicking tank tops and undershirts that don't feel or look like athletic dry fit shirts. Highly recommended.
