What I'm listening to right now...

Hey guys, can you recommend a streaming salsa/mambo station that I can listen to? I've tried to look for different salsa playlists on spotify and although I've found a few, the song types are generally becoming a bit repetitive. Can you all recommend a twitch channel or another streaming service that plays good music (that I don't have to pay for)?

This is a the list I use:
La Sonera Radio, La Xtereo are my two go to places.

Salsa Warriors isn't bad either.

La Sonera is the best imo. La Extereo has more non-Salsa playing


Maybe we can make the list of salsa stations a sticy.

La Sonera Radio and salsa warriors have apps (on Android at least).

La x extereo also has an app. So all 3 have apps. But this is the order I use:

La Sonera Radio (best imo; great variety of Romantica, dura with old and new stuff)

La xestereo (2nd best). Does more other Latin genres than Sonera so second best.

Salsa Warriors is more salsa dura than anything else

Do you find the majority of the stuff is Salsa? I'm starting to notice more that artists are doing a blend of genres on their albums. I love how uses the breaks. That fat restart demands a very emphasized CBL (which is my fave and allows for a super clear and easy change).

One block, I'm on full salsa joy then the next slam into another type of song (bachata usually). I try to listen to their stuff on YT before buying but find more and more non salsa in the "playlist" setup by the artist/YT

The cd I have is basically modern Cuban "salsa". It feels like nice danceable Salsa but with that noticeable cuban feel. Definitely timba but not the kind people hate.
