That’s kind of contradictory - freewill and god.
Freewill itself is debatable whether freewill truly exists. It as much a concept of human creation as the God is.
first, we must define what we mean by "Free Will" free will is the capacity of a conscious mind to make decisions....God created human beings with free will, it is part of what distinguishes us from rocks and animals, however, the will we possess is lesser than that of God. free will without external limitations is impossible for human beings, since we always face limitations of some kind, there are always things we cannot choose to do, such as flapping our arms and flying to the Moon, as i mentioned earlier, external limitations exist regarding our choices, therefore, we do not possess complete free will...we assume that God possesses complete free will in the sense that, in His omnipotence, He is limited by nothing other than Himself. as we can read in Job 36:23, no one tells God what He must do: "Who has prescribed His way? And who will say to Him, 'You have done wrong'?"
another way to view free will in human beings is that a certain aspect of our decision making process is not constrained by natural laws, many events are determined by natural laws: a pen falls when someone drops it (the law of gravity), and robins build nests every spring (animal instinct), however, there are no natural laws governing the choice to wear tennis shoes instead of dress shoes, for example, or to order bacon for breakfast instead of sausages, human beings operate within a realm dependent upon the natural world, yet we maintain a limited autonomy within that world....God, by contrast, possesses free will in every respect, the natural world operates in subordination to His realm, God is not bound by any natural law, indeed, He established those laws and is sovereign over them
God gave us the ability to choose, we can even decide whether or not we want to love God, none of us are puppets, we can all make decisions about our lives, we choose what we will do, but one day we will face God's judgment, we are responsible for our actions....take care all
Bible references
Joshua 24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of [a]the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Deuteronomy 30:17-19 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, 18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
James 4:7-8 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Hebrews 10:35-39 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Romans 2:6-8 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation, and wrath,
