It's Life!

Isn't it the "real world" to understand that there will be modifications within different social environments? When we were children and learning about the "real world" did we not learn that we can behave one way in a playground and another at church? We learned that we can act one way with our friends at school, but yet another with our elders? Dress one way to go McDonald's and another for a wedding?

Yes, which is my point.
 
I took some non-Salsa friends to an excellent London Salsa night last week and some of the comments they made reminded me of this thread:
'This is amazing...I just don't understand how they do it: all this incredibly hot dancing and then the music stops and they just say thanks and walk away!?
Surely the guys must all have a har*-on??!'
'See that girl over there?' <animated pointing> 'She just danced with AT LEAST 10 different guys!'

I don't want to restart the debate - I get your point, CT2CA - but thought it would be worth adding to this thread.

Salsa has been around for a while now but it can still be a real culture shock for the uninitiated.
