guaguanco?

I just hear rumba on tumbadoras, no montuno on tumbadoras.
The "Son montuno" is the piano. The percussion is still playing in 6/8 Rumba time. The rumba feel is still there during the coro section, but the rest of the rhythm section dominates over the tumba licks and subsequent improvisation that the folkloric "feel" shifts somewhat. It is still highly appropriate (and recommended) to dance rumba and NOT 2,3,4 5,6,7 [or on the "1" which would *look* horrible].

Another style

To me.. casino a tiempo would look and feel very appropriate.
