Hmmm... isn't it strange how salsa competitions only get smaller and smaller with less participants... and as a result - less audience. While other partner style dance competitions such as swing, ballroom etc...
these competitions only get bigger and bigger! Eventually running over several days - competing from morning to night!
To me, it seems like salsa competition organizers only focus on the best (higher level) dancers to enter the competitions. The lower level dancers never get a chance to compete at a world competition, or any other high end competitions for that matter.

hmmm...chinese representing russia, and russians representing china...and I wonder how one becomes a "last minute qualifier"("oh, we met Albert Torres in the lobby and did a bit of dancing for him"
)..just kidding.. i respect the competition
shaka's live tweeting from the comp in case anyone's interested. some of his commentary is hilarious!

In my opinion one of the best if not the best routine on1 or on2 of the whole competition... loved it from start to finish. Had a little bit of everything and was just a beautiful routine in my opinion.
Can someone please explain why Anne and Anichi didn't win the on2 competition?
