Where are the black people in salsa today?

Mambo, I didn't mean followers, I meant producers & performers of the music. Sure there is still a few groups that have some black personal, but overall my point is that the Afro-Carribean sound is disappearing.

Salsa Cubana? (Que dice Mayito!!). On a serious note I am with Timberamayor with this one. We don't know what the changes will bring vis a vis Cuba, but I would expect lots of black people to be involved in some way in the future of Afro-Cuban music.

Call me crazy, but last time I checked, there were as much Black culture in "Salsa" as there is Euro/White. All over the globe.

Not that you'd know it from watching TV...
