Rolando Laserie singing La Malaguena, nice.... he was a great Guaracha, Bolero, Son Montuno, singer.... one of my favorite sinse his first recordings in the 40s

Thanks !.. A fab. song. The band seldom played songs at those speeds for us to dance, but just to enjoy the music. Impossible to describe what the real thing was like.Rolando sure had the "chops" for Mambo style music !.A true Sonero .

Machito, who normally played at the Crescendo on the "strip" , tended to give more of a concert style session,with a lot of jazzy and up tempo music.That piece kinda reminded me of him .
