What I mean connection?
I've noticed that i'm referring too much to this term in SF or with friends but I have difficulty to explain what I mean. I feel it but when they ask me, I dont have much to say. So I decided to write down.*
With a friend, I was gossiping about our favourite dancers. he mentioned a girl, I said yes but this one has similar style but I enjoy dancing with her more. He said no way, the first girl was much better in many aspects. I said interesting. Then I noticed that I like the way we build the connection during the dance. Then as soon as I noticed this, I sent her a message and said that I love to dance with her :tongue:
So, for me, connection can be categorised as
1. Physical connection
1.1. Physical connection with the partner
1.2. Physical connection with the music
2. Emotional connection
2.1. Emotional connection with the partner
2.2. Emotional connection with the music.*
1.1. diversly proportional with the necessary amount of power. or how well your partner can provide tension on necessary situations.
1.2. can you understand what's going on in the music while watching a dancer even if you close your ears?
2.1. how well s/he can adjust his/her emotions parallel to his/her partner? it's not always being cheerful or sexy or sensual during the dance.*can you go up or down with your partner?*
2.2. can you change your attitude with the music
