nevermind. apparently its EITHER. and of course that doesnt make a lick of sense at all. somebody goofed on stipulating the rules. so a 2 person shine routine, can be judged against a 5 person shine routine or a 2 person partnerwork routine, so long as the dancers are the same sex. :?
 
yeah weird

btw I thought Junior and Emily really stepped out of their boundaries with their latest routine even if there was a big mess up in their big spin segment. Lot more dancing and using the floor space in this piece.
 
yeah they clearly deserved first again..... oliver and luda brought it again... and it was actually a lot more difficult and they were flawless.... they just know how to choregraph and execute competition routines

But yeah, supposedly Oliver and Luda should have won the on2. The online stream I watched was choppy so I couldn't make out much besides Anya's dress sh!tting on Luda's dress. Lol. Will wait patiently for videos to be posted.

I can't wait to see it. I was surprised that O&L didn't win again. I spoke to someone that went and he said it was a nice event, including the social dancing.

Quality vids from O&L's final still aren't up, but you can check the recorded feed for a low quality version. You can certainly make out the dress disparity, imho.

Luis and Anya Finals routine

the Oliver and Luda finals routine was up but I don't know what happened to it, I was going to go over the two in detail... but initial impression was that it was fairly close and I had no problem giving it to Luis and Anya, also there was an improv part that I believe accounts for 10 percent of the score that I didn't see so who knows how that went.

Luis & Anya looked cleaner but Oliver & Luda's routine was much more complicated, so, yes it's close. But Luda's dress looks, hmm, interesting. :D
