The 'GRAND PLATINUM SALSA FORUM 2012' award
Winner: Every Salsa Forum Member, of course!
Thank you for making Salsa Forums such a fun place to share ideas, thoughts and knowledge throughout 2012.

Hehe, this is all so true! Good job! :D And congratulations to all winners (which would be all of us)!

Congratulations to all winners!

Thank you so much for the spreading the love award! I hope my little salsa scene will survive.

You are all cordially invited to Salsa Thursdays if you ever come to Cebu City, Philippines!

Well thanks!!! I didn't even know I was nominated.

Terrence is one of my heroes along with one of my guru's. He's one of a few who should have been in the same category ahead of me. He was robbed!!! (He has true dance wisdom and has forgotten more than most of us know.)

I don't think I have the proper attire for my award, but maybe I can photoshop something or add some new reading glasses to my photo. And while I tend to joke a bit in this case I'm serious for a change:

I'm honored and humbled, but frankly I know how little I know.

Thanks again, I appreciate it and I'm sure we'll all grow even more next year.

Don

Thanks for the award. I'm not aware I post in the Video Clips section very often, but I appreciate it regardless.

Congratulations to all of us.

Thank you for the awards. :)

My Yin and Yang one was interesting. :) I would like to dedicate this award to londongirl. :)

(Note to chrisk: The "Yin" needs a slight correction: "Yin" instead of "Ying" :)).

I would love to see the post that inspired Azzey's Funniest excuse for unsuccesful math award. :D

I would like to suggest a new category award for next year:

Best Sense of Humor

Folks tend to get a bit too serious around here -- I mean , we're talking about music and dance so there should be fun , laughter and humor involved. I can think of a few funny people who make me laugh and smile.

Actually, many of the award categories are pretty damn funny...

I was wondering how the vote was conducted and wether there were any irregularties. I call for a public inquiry.

For doubting our perfectly unpartial and absolutely honest voting procedure, you shall conduct 20 spins to the left, followed by 20 to the right. ;)

(Note to chrisk: The "Yin" needs a slight correction: "Yin" instead of "Ying" :)).

Well, mistakes happen. :)

I would love to see the post that inspired Azzey's Funniest excuse for unsuccesful math award. :D

Just go here and you can read the post that we picked for this category.

Thanks, it's been noted. :)

That was my bad as I suggested the category and nominee. chrisk only had to cut/paste my typo.
As you changed your avatar... you can be more single focus one-sided now.

Diplomatic Corp - I love it! Currently zooming around the hills of Kigali, Rwanda, on the back of moto-taxis (serious fun!) spreading the salsa love :) . And yes, the shoes are packed in the bottom of the backpack just in case!

I thought the same and donate my award this year to Terence.
