Stringing some basic turns together

Hey all I have been dancing off and on for about 6 months now (I know, I know need to stick to it consistently!) and lately I have been dancing more often. I have the basic turns down, and have even got a passable CBL and can lead a lady through a spin on that. I would like to start "stringing together" more turns as oppossed to single turns with a basic step in between to make it more exciting. Any suggestions on some simple combos I could work on? I don't want to bore my partner to death! Thanks in advance!

I have been dancing for 1.5 years, and the following are still staples of my moveset:

-Clockwise turn followed by a back break into a counterclockwise turn
-CBL w/ turn, followed by turning myself clockwise (still holding her right hand with my left hand), followed by turning the lady clockwise
-Clockwise turn, followed by turning myself clockwise (still holding her right hand with my left hand), followed by turning the lady clockwise again
-CBL w/ turn, followed by turning myself clockwise (still holding her right hand with my left hand), followed by turning the lady clockwise, followed by turning myself clockwise again (while switching her right hand to my right hand behind my back), followed by turning the lady clockwise again
-Same thing as above, only starting with a clockwise turn instead of CBLT

I'm not so good at verbalizing moves, so I hope I made enough sense to help!

Well, if there are any classes in your city, why not take one class and learn some new moves/patterns? If you're looking for instructional videos, you might want to go to youtube and look for the 'addicted2salsa' videos.

2nd that. Anthony's videos are really helpful and will still be valuable to you after a year or more imho. You might also want to check out videos on youtube by kudarasamurai, frantaley, mambosf (on2 if you are interested), and finally Aaron & Aleksandra at salsastudent.com. If you downlowd VLC media player you can play videos in slow motion.

As a suggestion perhaps you could learn these moves if you don't know them already then find some variations on them:
copa, hammerlock, hook turn, wrap, presentation (jesus check/british airways), pretzels (two handed holds).

There are a couple addicted2salsa videos that cover getting out of 'two handed hand holds' and 'hammerlocks'. Hopefully that info is correct and useful to. ;)

Hah, I didn't even think about looking on Youtube. Tons of stuff on there. Now I just need to get home from this business trip so me and my partner can practice :D
