hi all,

i'm looking for the title/artist of a (i think) 70's salsa song, the coro goes "hay que estar un poco loco pa'vivir en nueva york". i know it's the last song on yves billon's "salsa opus 1: new york" documentary, but the song is nowhere listed on the video.
if you know this song, please be so kind to let me know the title and artist!

Hi. I believet the song you are referring to is "La Gran Manzana" (the Big Apple) by Sociedad 76. Kicking tune. I believe it is only available on LP but I think I might have seen it on a colombian CD comp with Orq Zodiac and Soc 76. Good luck.

i'm going to try to get hold of that tune. as i'm in belgium, europe, i guess the LP is gonna be a little hard to find. was it out on fania?

if anyone knows where i can find it, please let me know.
