Smooth Suzie Qs

Keep your knees bent and your feet turned out with your bodyweight balanced on the inner part od the ball of your feet. Aditionally, do not overdo the arm and shoulder styling, Suzy-Q is a body shine so concentrate on your body.

Esa.n-- there is ALWAYS a proper tech. for anything that involves dance, either solo or partnership .
If you are taking instruction , and not getting the advice you need , then look for someone who understands the dynamics of movement .

Put your feet very close to each other. "Swing" your hips ...let them follow the step. You actually twist your hips but let the upper part of the body stay straight forward.´A bit like Edies - 8 if you heard about them ;)

Thanks! I read one description that involved having the weight of the leading foot on the heel, but that just felt weird...cute, but weird. Thankfully I'll probably be starting some ladies styling classes soon.
