SF Shines Edition 8 - Slots assigned and recording started

The Compilation is progressing. We don't have all videos together yet, but we're working on it. Sadly we'll have to deal with Mangomotion completely having gone MIA and having to fill those slots as well as not being able to get a response from TwoLeftFeet yet. But we'll figure something out to fill those slots and get the clips done.

Thankfully I've many of you have submitted already and we've got two great editors with whom I'm now working now to create the resulting clips. So with this situation, we'll probably figure out something behind closed doors and surprise you with the result.

I've been in touch with TwoLeftFeet and life got the better part of him, so he's going to drop out. If anybody has contact with Mangomotion outside of SalsaForums, I would appreciate getting in touch with her. So one more slot to fill and work out a solution. But we'll get something done and not let this stop us from finishing the compilation!
 
Perhaps someone else is interested in doing the extra free spot? :) It's an awesome song! Here it is, the free slot (TwoLeftFeet's) is 0:55 - 1:33:

Ok so recorded the los van van section - who do I send it to please?

Just realised that I have a spot in the other song so will do that now and send tonight or tomorrow. That one goes to Flujo.

Well, Los Van Van will be edited by WildBill as Flujo takes care of Linda Mujer, since he already cut the song for us. Thank you a lot of jumping in with two sections. Now we might be delayed, but we're continuing to move forward.

Heh, yeah, this makes me wonder if I'll get to see the compilation come online before I come back from Cuba in the spring :)
 
Well, TSC, you will definitely be able to watch it before spring. Unfortunately we had to deal with more issues for this compilation then before, but our editors are working towards creating the final compilaton.

And since we will be meeting up in Havana in January, we can even do an extra video dancing together to "La Bomba Soy Yo" :D

What's the latest status from our video editors? Any chance that publication will happen soon (during this month)?
 
Well, so far I'm not going to make promises. WildBill and I have been regularly in touch and he would be really. Sadly, I can't say the same for Flujo. I've been trying for now three weeks to get in touch, but so far no response from him whether the clip is ready to publish or not. I really hope to soon get a response from him so we can publish or see if WildBill can help out with the second clip as well, in case something happened to Flujo.
 
I just want to put it out there; Flujo - I hope you're doing OK and will come back. If you can't finish the video - someone else will do it. Even I could do it in MS Paint, or whatever is the name of the best software for the job.
