SF Shines Compilation Part 2

Alrighty folks... we're set! Here again is our song, Goza by Cal Tjader. I've split it into 4 parts as noted below. And I've assigned everyone's parts just below that. People listed in parentheses are uncertain but *fingers crossed* likely contributors. You're of course free to record longer than your actual part.

Part1 ..[0:00 - 0:23].. 23 seconds
Part2 ..[0:23 - 0:46].. 23 seconds
Part3 ..[0:46 - 1:24].. 38 seconds
Part4 ..[1:24 - 1:52].. 28 seconds

P1: smiling, guyDC (salsagipsy)
P2: opm, piel, brownie (ptwist)
P3: flujo, sweavo, chrisk, mavo (antigone)
P4: malcolm, macmoto (blkgitana)
(bolivicano, salsamakossa, sunsoul.... check in if i missed your intent)

Since the deadline was deemed too early for the last go round, we're gonna go for almost two weeks on this one. Submissions should be sent to flujo by Tuesday, July 21.

Flujo, please weigh in again on what video formats you prefer and where they should be uploaded. Everyone else, feel free to use this thread over the next 12 days as a pit stop for ideas in case you blank out! If all else fails, give us an MJ tribute with a salsafied moonwalk :lol:. Anything goes folks...

if you all dont mind opm and I want to do our parts together just for fun, hopefully we can manage time to get together.
 
also by any chance, i mean just wondering, would be it be possible maybe not for this one or for later projects, for us to have the precise time ( count) when we should start and where should we end?, it will be nice because then we can focus in the specific section that will go in the video
 
oh ya that sounds fine, i didn’t think of the musical video logistics but that sounds great actually, then we each just have to learn each others parts

theres a change in the music at each break point so when u listen and refer to the points, it should "click". and as far as making sure of what actually makes it into the vid..... u'll have to suck up to the videographer for that one. i think he likes descarga.com and apple pies. :D (j/k) ill let flujo weigh in.....

Suck up? That's sounds awful. Tell me what you want done and I'll do it (within reason). :)

This time around with the videos:
- landscape
- a minimum of 640x??? resolution (preferred).
- send the raw file from your camera (unless it's dv - then convert it to mp4 with max quality first).
That's all folks.
Ed: forgot the upload sites:
- files can be uploaded to rapidshare (200MB limit)

I dunno, the 21st feels a little bit soon. Will that be enough time for anyone that is really busy. It's only four days if you think in terms of weekends.

. eh, apparently flujo's a nice guy sans gifts so have at him. :)

im not sure about the deadline argument. we're giving almost twice as much time as before, for 1/6th of the work (much shorter clips). u think 3 weekends are needed for this??
 
nah suck up means what you meant it to mean. I thnk flujo just seems to be averse to flattery and bribery for some reason (the fool)

What's it worth? j/k Of course! :) We'd also need a bottle of Mount Gay straight from Barbados just in case we get accused of drinking a ladies drink. Gotta have a backup.
