Over the last few years we have had little chance to answer the requests of those budding teachers out there who have been interested in learning from our teaching techniques and experience.
But, not any more. Bowing to the demand, we have managed to put together the Serious About Salsa (SAS) Weekender course that we hope will cater for all those different requirements and, whether you want to pass the Salsa Teachers exams or just want to learn more about mambo, THIS IS THE COURSE FOR YOU!
The first day of the course is ideal for the budding salsa aficionado as it is designed for those who seek a far more detailed understanding of UK salsa and where it sits in the global salsa scene and the music and dance that we love so much.
The second day of the course is specifically aimed at those who want to work towards becoming a latin dance teacher. Most importantly it deals with all the issues surrounding the Accredited Teaching Exams which will shortly be compulsory for all those wishing to take up salsa teaching.

* Prepares you to take AND pass the UKA exams
All delegates will receive study notes as well as a DVD with a range of useful media clips. In addition, upon finishing the weekend, delegates will receive a Certification of Completion.

Saturday - A comprehensive guide to the global History of Salsa music and dance, It's Origins, Instrumentation, Conceps and Terminology as well as a guide to other forms of "Latin Club Dance" - Ideal for the budding "salsa aficionado"
Sunday - The UKA Exams & their requirements, Teaching Protocols, Tips & Practices, Legal issues, Training & Warm up exercise, Class room practical and practice sessions
- Ideal for those wanting to teach dance
Saturday Only - £60* / Sunday Only - £60*
