September Resolutions

I find that I need to do longer term planning, and that I usually see the results of what I am working on in a month, hence a monthly resolution thread.

My resolutions for this month:
1. Don't stay at a dance beyond midnight unless it is a really good dance -- good music and good dancers
2. Use the extra time to get better sleep and other healthier habits
3. Work on some linear styling/dancing so I become more versatile
4. Create a system of back-ups for my music and important docs so that I do it on a regular basis, it is done efficiently, and i don't lose stuff as I did when my pc crashed earlier this year. I just got a terabyte portable hard drive on sale so this seems appropriate.

What are your monthly plans?
 
I like this thread, because after New Year, fall is the best time to make changes.

1. Try to reduce salsa dancing to a few times a month, just the occasional social, no more bar scene.
2. Get in to another form of dance, probably west coast swing.
3. Find work. That's a good goal, yeah?
4. Get a third date with the guy I'm going on a first date with this weekend. I am aiming for that third date, as my short time goal. He seems like a keeper.
 
My monthly plan is to do a monthly plan - I have so many videos, bits of technique and choreographies that I don't really know where to start. So all my practicing (which I do nearly daily) is all a bit random. I would be so much happier with a plan ... really need a plan :cool:
