Seattle Salsa Congress 2013 Roll Call

Let's move this conversation to Facebook, it's easier to get in touch on the run if we have to. I can contact everyone there, check your inbox. For those of you who will travel, have a safe journey!

I am sure you guys had a great dinner Sat night, too bad my flight was in the evening and not enough time for me to come join you guys.

At least I met MAMBO_CEC in the hall way, and he was right about Seattle having great follows. I had so much fun. All the more advanced ladies were willing to do on1, even that very pretty girl from NYC, who was already exhausted, hahaha.

Next year I will try to stay for another night, now that I now Seattle congress is quite good, but seriously, after dancing for 4 hours Friday night, you guys can continue to keep it up Sat?

The pretty girl from NYC, was very popular with the Seattle leads...I have never seen anything like it, it was like bees to honey. Glad you had a good time.we stayed there until 6 am on Sat.

Ah, so that was your strategy, wait until I was too exhausted to protest?! :p Lol, just joking -- happy to dance on1 when the lead prefers it :)

(Blushing)...what can I say, the NYC honey felt very nice in the middle of the Seattle bees :) Loved their energy on the dance floor. Saturday morning when I got up after about 4 hours of sleep, the friend I was staying said with I was "glowing" with happiness, clearly the result of having a great time the night before dancing at the congress. :)

I found the Seattle scene to be very friendly and welcoming, with very good leads, and I had a great time--will be back for sure! For some of the famous Century Ballroom events :)

That was a really good congress, one of my favorites. The workshops were small enough to be useful, and the instructors - Santo Rico, Frankie Martinez, Jr & Emily, were excellent. Social dancing was a bit mixed Friday, then got better on Saturday, and was best late Sunday. I just danced On2 with everyone, and only a few women asked to switch.

I'm sorry I missed the SF dinner, but was too tired Saturday (and also didn't want to lose my parking spot). It was good seeing MAMBO_CEC, Sabrosura and GroovyMambo. But I missed meeting SalsaStudent, even though we were in the Santo Rico workshop.

BTW, Frankie Martinez was really friendly and accessible, dancing with everyone Saturday, hanging out and chatting with people by the Rose City booth.
