Assuming this bl**dy cold is gone by then I'm hoping to go for what will be the second time in two years. Shameful, absolutely shameful. Talk about being a hypothetical salsero.
Loved the venue the first time and saw a few familiar faces. I'm quite looking forward to grooving to some of Johnny G's music (it's been a while) and to starting off the night with a lovely pint of Guinness or two. Oh yes! The best way to start a night of dancing.
Hmm, no sign of this cold shifting so it looks like it's a no go for tommorow, again. Grrrrr! But nobody responded so it doesn't matter. :lol: I need lessons much more than social dancing right now anyway.

Ok, so this Saturday will be attempt number two at going. It looks like there is going to be a Colombian class before the dancing so that should be fun. I've been trying a bit of the footwork out and can just about keep up.
Has anyone taken a Colombian class before? What's it like?

Last post, seeing as this is a bit of a one man show.
Just in case any Londoners are interested and search for comments on this particular night. I'd definitely recommend it if you are looking for a no pressure night with great music and a good mix of authentic sounds covering most if not all tastes. There are loads of friendly people to dance with and the dance floor is massive!
That's all you need for a good night really.
There are some down points but it's better you experience the night yourself and make up your own mind.
Just a bit. Give it a few years - they'll rip a whole in space time at CERN and make transatlantic flights a thing of the past. Either that or open the gates of hell.
There aren't enough Londoners on here for threads like this really. Even the SoS one didn't get many replies and that was a big night. No harm in trying.
