I recently saw this amazing movie and i wanted to share it with you guys!
A young French classical pianist decides to abandon Chopin after his surprising discovery of tropical music, which he ends up loving. Rémi Bonnet (Vincent Lecoeur) connects with a group of Cubans in Paris and must change his physical appearance to pass as a Cuban, perform shows, and teach classes to the public without being judged by his surroundings. In his new life, he meets Nathalie (Christianne Gout), whom he falls in love with, unaware that she will be the source of great changes in his life.

The movie is directed by Joyce Buñuel and is from the 2000s.

Full of passion, good music, and a great story. Has anyone else seen it?

Maybe I've seen the poster before. Sounds interesting; have to watch it with (Dutch) subtitles.

I've seen it and it is one of the better salsa movies out there. But it has that "she naturally has it in her blood and having never danced before is somehow just naturally a superb dancer" trope. But as salsa movies go, it is better than most.

The one with Chayanne was pretty good IMO Dance with Me I believe it was called.

Aren't all films better if you can watch in the native language? But subtitled (or overdubbed) is still enjoyable if the film is decent. Unless the entire film is based on puns I suppose.
Indeed but this movie is about a French guy pretending being latino which doesn't translate well with subtitles
