Salsa resolution thread 2013!

OMG.. I am experiencing massive salsa withdrawal. I have been in Hungary for 3 weeks now and haven't danced at all. I am not anywhere near Budapest, and I don't think I will be able to travel there very often (once a month maybe, but even that's a stretch). My small, quaint little town of Hódmezővásárhely (yes I can't pronounce it either) has no salsa to speak of, let alone nightlife. I've just arrived here and will be here for a while. I never thought I'd miss salsa so much as I do now. This absolutely sucks.

I'd just like to say that whatever issues I had in the past with dancing (Salsa relationships, cliques, snobs, off nights, rejections, injuries....etc)... those are NOTHING compared to not being able to dance!

:(

Well, maybe you should start your own salsa scene there :)

But, yeah, I know what you mean and my sympathies. I hope things get better.

Time to book some congress trips?

Resolutions for 2013:
1. Join a salsa performance course/team
2. Do some cuban lessons
3. Attend a salsa festival
4. Learn and dance more Bachata

Update:

1. Achieved and completed !:) Finished our run of performances with the Pexava Ladies Intermediate Styling group at the Pexava Holborn Social last night ! I had to work hard, but it was worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the learning, the teaching, the other girls and loved the performances we did. It has also had a real stabling effect on my social dancing. Awesome, really happy :)

2. watch this space

3. nowhere near, can't see it happening

4. forget this one, I'm not interested o_O
