An acquaintance of mine is going to Singapore on business next Wednesday and is looking for information on where to salsa. Can anyone help?

Union Square.

Check out my friends school two left feet (I am biased but I think Jean and Wendy are BRILLIANT). Maybe he can find out more from them

yup, union square at amara shopping centre is the place to go. Salsa starts at 9pm and goes till 1245am. There's salsa there 6 nights a week so if he wants to, he can go out on other nights too.

may probably be out that night. just ask him to ask for me :)

I KNOW WENDY!!! She's so sweet and, like most Singaporean girls I hear, a great follow :) She came to the DC Congress this past June. That's how we met. Awesome!

bolivcano - small world, wendy was my salsa teacher (and jean) in Singapore, did my first performance with them! lol!
Is that the sister of Kelvin Yee? When he visited Japan, he was hugely popular with all the girls here - talented siblings, they are :)

yes, exactly. Kelvin has posted here a couple of times. Very good posts too i must say. Best of all, both are beautiful people in real life. Very sweet and down to earth.

As is Jayzen and his wife who are also top instructors in Singapore. AND TOP PEOPLE anywhere in the world!!!

REALLY small world. What was happening in S'pore then? What were u doing over there?

Oh i lived there for 3 years....working....and I started classes in a different studio and then went to two left feet and was there for about 18 months before I left!

Kelvin is the best person i've ever danced mini-salsa with - when Union Square got really really crowded (most nights) we had to dance small (obviously) and he was gifted at mini-salsa - but yes, both Kelvin and WEndy are great dancers! Jean is the best girl-lead i've ever danced with, it's like dancing with a guy, so clear!
