Salsa in D.C. near Wardman Park?

So, I'm going to be at the American Anthropological Association's Annual Meetings in Washington D.C. this coming week, next to Wardman Park. Anyone from the area know if there are any good salsa clubs that would be accessible by public transportation or a cheap cab ride?

Also, anyone from the area familiar with the salsa band Sin Miedo?
