Salsa in Barcelona

Any recommended places for dancing salsa in Barcelona?

Two friends of mine are going to spend this weekend there, they are looking for good clubs where they can dance Salsa music...

I just came back from there from the All Star Salsa Cruise. There were two salsa places featured there for pre-cruise festivities, but I only made it out to the one. The clubs were Antilla, and Mojito (which I went to). Thle dance scene wasn't really my favorite...it seemed to be a lot of the Cuban style. Not to mention, there was a lot of drinking, smoking, and lack of respect of space on the dance floor. This was something very different than the typical salsa spots I was used to. Antilla may be totally different though- I never made it out to there. Hope this helps your friend!

Hi there
I went to Barcelona recently and tried Antilla and Havana Barcelona which is near the beach. They were both very Cuban style.

Antilla was small and lively. They played a few Bachatas. I thought the dancers were not very technical but danced rather well.

I preferred Havana Barcelona as they had 2 live bands (on a Sunday night) who were very good and the atmosphere was nice - there is also a restaurant upstairs.
