Dunno. I can't make the first one so no input on that. I guess it's up to those who can actually be available at 7 pm on Friday whether they want to meet once and regroup briefly later or whether they'd rather just have one meeting time.
 
I'd love to join you guys...but what time is the meetup? Would early Saturday evening would work better for everyone (since everyone should be in town by then)?
 
I'll be in the Hilton Lobby at 10pm sharp Friday evening. I am a bit of a perfectionist about being "on-time" haha I made a pun, but it's true --- in both cases. Unless my plane arrives hella late I'll be there.

Earlier Saturday works for me as well.
 
I think most people seeem to be able to make it a 10PM then. So if everyone agrees lets make it at that time:

10PM at the lobby of the hotel ( if the lobbby is big, I will be standing near the check-in desk)
 
The check in desk for the hotel or for the congress? the check in for the congress is not in the lobby. I think perhaps that the check in Kiosks might be a safer bet, smaller area. Also if I recall correctly there is a nice little fountain in the main lobby.
 
Booked my ticket few minutes back. I can be taken out of "Maybe" status now.

For those staying in the hotel, why not meet for breakfast on Friday morning. That will be simpler in addition to meeting in the evening.
 
Perhaps those of use who are arriving on Thursday can have a small meetup Thursday evening, say 7pm in the 1st floor lobby by the fountain? We could either have a bite together somewhere or just meet & greet. Then we can have another, bigger meet & greet at 10pm on Friday, either at the same place (probably easier to find each other) or, if preferred, upstairs by the congress registration desks (the area might be quite busy after the evening show though). What do you think? :)

I'll be wearing my avatar t-shirt for the first meet up but something else (something tartier :lol:) for the later one.
 
hey since you all mention a fountain, that seems like a nice place to meet. So may I suggest for FRIDAY lets meet at the fountain.
I am up for other meetings too, well maybe no breakfast.. since i have to work during the day:(

a 1am meetup sounds good too. I am hoping to get a chance to dance with everyone from SF before the crowd scatter us all over the dance floor.

From the past experience it is not easy to find people you don't know in the crowd. No harm in doing a 1am either.

We have 7pm, 10pm and 1am options. Sounds fair enough to me since not everyone can make it to all. Stage might be too loud. There must be a vendor area just outside the dancing hall? Any landmarks around there?

Can we have an agreement on time and location within the venue?

I think to make it easier all the 7pm and 10pm meeting places should be at the fountain, And the 1pms, to the right corner of the stage where the band is. Otherwise we may get all confused being in dance high and all
