Camp Merrimac will help you relax with stunning mountain and lakeside views...Located just 20 minutes from Asheville, in Black Mountain, the camp is 5 minutes driving to whatever you need in town, but far enough away to feel like a vacation!
This event will have classes for all levels, whether you have never taken a Salsa class before, or even if you are already a professional and want to study in depth topics...

Stiletto’s mission:
Stiletto is a Latin dance retreat for women and young women in the mountains of Asheville NC, formed around the ideals of Mentorship and collaborative learning. Our Instructors are chosen because they are leaders in their communities and are setting examples on how to work together with other female leaders to create supportive and lasting careers in the Arts.
Our mission is to offer a comprehensive and intensive Salsa- based dance training with a focus on female technique and style, while building strong and genuine relationships among the students and teachers. This is NOT exactly a Salsa Congress or a Boot Camp…We want the emphasis to be on the learning process and the bonding among peers. There will be a number of free passes for youth in the Asheville area who otherwise would not be able to pay for this opportunity.
Ofcourse, there will be a bangin’ party at the end with some of our favorite Salseros to look forward to!! Friday night in Asheville there will be a big party and Saturday is the EVEN BIGGER party at the Camp facility...
