salsa etiquette

A few rules on Social Dancefloor Etiquette:

1) Be aware of your surroundings, adjust your dancing and actively avoid running into others!
2) Leaders and followers protect your partner from dancefloor collisions. If a collision occurs, acknowledge the mistake and apologize.
3) Crazy, death defying moves and spins in general, are a no no. Leave it for the performance!
4) It's fine to ask an advance dancer dance but only ask once unless you're invited for that second dance.
5) It's not cool to refuse a dance and then immediately go dance with someone else. If you don't to dance, just be polite.

I'm sure there are many others. Anyone else care to add?
 
in Egypt , ur not supposed to do 2 dances in a row with the same partner
and yes the lead must take u to your seat!! or at least walk u away of the dance floor so he can catch up the next song or u catch up the next one!

even if theres a couple they are not allowed to do more than 3 dances together!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wiered huh :roll:

The more dips, the better.

Use your elbows to carve out some space. Cross Body Lead and drop your partner into the gap you've just made.

What would happen if I danced more than 3 times with the same partner ? Not that I'm likely to be in Egypt anytime soon :)

well if u danced more than 3 dances!!!!!! which is ALL OUTTA ETTIQUETE RULES
then another girl or another guy would come ask u for the next dance !!!! and u have to accept or else u'll be dancing with ur partner for the next of ur life with no one asking u EVER to dance again!!! lol

and yeah am the closest, italy is just the meditteranian away :P
