Salsa beginner needs help

Hello I do not have any problems with the different turns and combos. The problem is the tect to the music. How can I hear perfectly in the song how fast or slow I should dance.

Of course it is 1,2,3 short break 5, 6,7 but how fast should I dance to the song? Do you have any tricks?

My only addition is to encourage you to 'keep at it'. The music feels really foreign at first but the more you listen the more natural it feels.

It's a very good sign that you realize that you need to hear the rhythm better. Keep at it, and you'll progress really fast.
