I have to post this! hahahaha

I managed to pull off spinning a whole half hour set of salsa remixes of english songs hahaha! tracklist includes (not in order):

Lady
My Eyes Adore You
My Favourite Things
Fragilidad
Thinking of You
Hotel California
Roxanne

It went down well!

for a reason i dont like any remix done to an english song converting it to a wannabe salsa song !

how was the crowd's reaction?

it was good but then again, this is singapore. 99.9999999% of the population here don't speak spanish so, if we hear an english song remixed into salsa, to us, it's a novelty/cute/great cos we can dance to something we are familiar with :)

i've quite a few other remixes but from other languages. for example, africando's version of "La Vie En Rose" is sweet! And you should checkout the salsa version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Jambo, MANY THANKS!) and also "Sukiyaki".
