Quora: Is it ok for a heterosexual male to learn Salsa?

I got a notification on Quora earlier today about this new question in the Salsa Dancing topic:

• Is it ok for a heterosexual male to learn Salsa?

The question is:

I am not from the US, but I wanted to learn Salsa. A friend of mine told me that its not ok for heterosexual guys to learn Salsa. Should I learn it?

If anyone wants to guide misguided souls and help them see the light, feel free to add your own thoughts and opinions.

Why would that be a problem?
