I know the clave playing 2-3 is heard just 12 seconds into the song, but aside from that, everything suggests being in 3-2 for me.
Here's why:
- chord changes are almost always on 1, 2& and 4 of the first bar of clave pattern. Especially strong examples at 0:27 and 0:46 because the horns play it too, but it really happens all the way through the intro
- drums: open HH on beat 2, snare hit on beat 3. Almost every time from beginning to 1:22. This pattern is generally played on the 2-side.
- shots at 1:22 accent tresillo pattern on first bar (although second bar is not quite 2-side accents, 1& and 2&)
