Putting sweden on the map in NY 28-june -> 06-july

Hey all!

I'll be going to new york for a short vacation next week! I'm going alone and would ofcourse like to meet all you new yorkers if possible! See my preliminary schedule below if there is any chance of shaking hands and learning me some neat tricks on the floor :) I'm easy to spot, I'll be the tall (6'6") guy stepping on everybodys toes while trying to go on2 :) I know I'm gonna hook up with VJ1222, he seems to be a very relaxed and likeable guy!

The rest of the time I'm gonna fill with lessons, touristing and shopping. And maybe some sleep, if time allows :)

If you have suggestions for things I shouldn't miss, don't hesitate to tell me!

I would erase Cobacana on second Thursday (unless there is - I dont know - a good concert), because Club Cache is hard to be missed!!!

All in all, you'll see Copacabana on Saturday, won't you?

But I think you'll decide it by yourself after the first Thursday.

I would also suggest you NOT TO MISS the Salsa Tuesday at Links, with Dj David Montreal.

And regarding sleeping, if you go to Gisele bed & breakfast, please give here my regards and please pick up her email address for me, so as to contact her for the next trip (when I left, she wasn't at home)

Dont forget the rest!!!

For instance, me I was very divided when choosing between a night at Cache, and a concert of James Brown... I had fun at Cache, it paid off, but I'm sorry I couldn't see the Godfather of Soul on stage...

Cheers, and have fun at New York

A typo of me there, should be tuesday for the second copa visit. And yes, if I don't like it much on saturday I will probably go to LINK Lounge on tuesday instead, cus that was the only other event in salsanycalender.com.

I'll tell Gisele u said hello :) Allthough I have to find some other place for the first night since I'll be arriving pretty late. Thinking about taking a room at LQ, that way I will have time to check it out. But the rooms were rather expensive... $200+ :(

I would erase the copa all together. On saturday go to the South street seaport instead. Great outdoors salsa party, 6:00 PM - 12:00 midnight

Oh, it's that bad? Outdoor salsa sounds good to me! But since it close as early as midnight I might just head over to copa afterwards. I think I have to go there, if only for the sake of having checked it out, see it as a tourist attraction :)
