Postponed Due To Dance Ban?

Oh yes, that's a complicated thing in Germany, and everybody always forgets about it, also they are different in parts of the country - and this special holiday is a "silent holiday" so you have to go working, but are not allowed to dance  (So what does that mean for pro dance teachers?) This year it is on sunday, so it's even easier to not realize. I wanted to laugh about it but just realized this sunday I got dance classes - officially not I just learned, but I don't know now... Better not ask in the official dance school chat I think. Did I mention it sucks?

This topic is really an annoying one in Germany. I just realized that november is the worst month, we have in my area nothing less than four days with dance ban this month! Two of them are always on sundays, one always on a wednesday, so it doesn't hit so hard to most people, but still it is an issue for organizers how that posting above shows. Austria and Switzerland have banned the dance ban the last years, but germans seemingly in the western world are the last man standing in defence of the dance ban. That is really strange as Germany is such a secular country. Seemingly my dance workshop will secretly happen nonetheless, I will see. So four days in november Germany aligns with Afghanistan regarding the dance ban, dig that.
