Any1 knows if there's any video footage of this concert back in the 70's?
Would love to see it! One of my favorite live albums ever!!!!
 
this happened in the early 70's. video and film equipment at that time was very expensive and it was B/W. maybe a few Super 8 films are available but haven't seen one from this venue yet.

if some film is available, I would love to watch it.

btw, there's an Eddie and Charlie Palmieri b/w 10 minute film available in YouTube performing live "Muñeca" in Central Park in 1972 (youtube.com/watch?v=7QqVixG1foo). the film doesn't catch the song entirely but it gives you most of what happened there. this was shot by Izzy Sanabria and Walter Vélez. both were at that time in charge of most Fania graphic work, including most of the album covers.

Hi guys,

There is in fact film footage of that concert. Among the folks who have the film is the University themselves. If I'm not mistaken I believe it can be accessed by the public at what the equivalent to the local Public Library would be in Puerto Rico.

Thanks, man! They were building some shelves in the studio and I was very distracted. They were actually measuring and cutting, etcetera. I was just glad to make it through that last show. Glad you enjoyed it anyway!

So glad to see you here and posting! The knowledge that you have is very extensive and very rare!
 
Really!!!!!???? I kinda thought the same idea about the university having it but didn't inquire too much about it. Definitely gonna investigate this!!!! ;)
