Pachanga Española.

Who can help me to identify this song..

"Sonido La Conga - La Pachanga Española (vivo)"
By user, soloparalatinos.

This song, perhaps is a mix of "La Macarena" by, Rey Roig
But at the beginning it starts saying "Pachanga Española" and then says something like " El pharaon quiere bailar, quiere gozar, quiere rumbear" and even says "OLE" yes then talks about "La Macarena" like the Rey Roing one, but at the end says, "pom pom ron pom pompero..." But is a really rare song . This is the only DJ I've heard this song( and the only place). So i cannot find it without The DJ talking too much. Hopefully I can get help here. Because it has been like 8 years trying to find it. Thank you...

Sonido Conga is a dj that performance in social dances in Mexico's central area, most of the times in mid to low neighborhoods, this sample is the "welcome" to the night where he thanks to the families that came to the social so as you said is hard to find all the songs in the mix, but the main one is "Pachanga Española" (I'm not able to link so look for Pachanga Española at you tube by "Los destellos" or by "Juan Piña")

Yeah you are right about Sonido La Conga, and the song yes is Pachanga Española, But I tried Los Destellos and Juan Piña and are not the right one; They sound very different, this one has a part with guitars. or perhaps this guys just made an excellent MIX. However, if it is the right song, there is another song that should be talking about the "pharaons", and "porom poron pompero"......
Thank you!!

In the world of cumbia sonidera in mexico city and in the U.S. "djs" are called Sonidos...its different than djing. Most of the time they have their own huge audio system and lights.
They talk a lot and give saludos(shout outs) during songs..not only at the beginning of the night. They often play with the pitch and tempo of songs to make them more danceable.

Try slowing down one of these and see what you get :)
not exactly the same version falta the lyrics "macarena" he might have blended two songs together

By the way I do think La Conga's version is Juan Piña just slowed down with a slight pitch change. I'm going to test it out...

Thank you very much. I try playing with them, but they still sound very different. These guys are awesome with collecting music. There is another "Sonido" that has many amazing music, and its own brand. Called "SONORAMICO", I would even say that they are some of the best collectors in the world. I have a lot of this music, but most it without the artist, and many of them I still trying to find.
If any time you need to find a song performed by them, perhaps I can help.. ;)
Thank you!!

Thank you! My husband is a Sonido de el D.f. So between him and I we have an extensive collection!!!

Btw...Sonidos are very protective of their music thats why there is rarely-never an artist listed...what program are u using to change tempo/pitch?

One more try with la Pachanga espanola, "Pharaons Version"
If you listen in the Minute 230 to 3:20(2:40, says "OLEE!!") i it has la Macarena, buen then it has a change...
IN the minute 6:20 it starts withe the pachanga espanola again....
at the minute 7:25 its when we can hear the Pharaones, and the Minute 9:18 it changes to porompompero...

I collect latin music for over 15 years, I am not a DJ, but i make special versions of songs for my Rueda group at times and it's fun but I will never put my name on a song from others LOL.
And why protect the name of an artist?, people should show the artist to give credits to who it belongs. Taking the credits for yourself... it just feels not right by my standards.

I think he likes the sound of his own voice...

Yeah, thats true. But sometimes after a while, they do show the artist.. But when they show a very rare song, they don't show it, the fact that this is a "sonido" thing, showing their best music to their people and "showing off" to other sonidos.. In the past finding the music was way harder, but thanks to the internet, now is "easier."
Hope I can find it, soon...:(
Greetings...
