I am visiting NYC for the New Year period from Japan and am thinking to try salsa countdown. A friend of mine whom I was supposed to meet up seems to going to somewhere to travel, so I am looking for the place where I can enjoy on my own. I might be able to find some good dance partners there, but I am not sure if it is a good idea to do so. I am considering to go Columbus 72 NYE event, but if you know other good places in Manhattan plz let me know. I usually do Cuban but it might be fun to do other NYish style. (I have been to Eddie Torres classes long time ago) Any suggestions, events, tips and meeting-up groups, would be appreciated! Thanks
