NY congress 2012 roll call ;)

What time do people want to meet for dinner on Thursday? Does 8:30 work? (To give more time to those arriving in NY on Thursday.)

I love the halal food trucks! The best one in the city is right by my office, on 48th St and Park Ave. Best lunch ever for $5. :)

Yeah but you have the law that you cant drink on the streets so no no for me kkkk find me some mexican food sabs

I can find you any food you want in NYC but you are on your own with the beer search, as I don't like alcoholic beverages...

I asked him. For other tickets he has a cancellation policy in place. For the evening/concert passes, he hasn't decided what he will do in terms of refunds yet. Obviously, if you buy at the door, there is no refund. He said if you do not use them, he might roll them over for next year or you may get your money back minus a percentage. In other words, you would have to talk to him if you decide not to attend.

the 4 evening pass is now $100. saves $40

Have you tried this? Is it for real?

On a side note, LVG anniversary is $40? That's really expensive. I don't if I even want to make it to that.

Really? Then bye bye cause i am so not buying a bachata pass kkkk
I think there's some confusion going on. The NY Salsa Congress and NY Bachata Festival are at the same location. Did Choco actually split the registration into 2 separate ones? I'm only doing the social dancing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights this year but want to be able to move from room to room.

That's what Choco told me. I've never actually cancelled.

I am not going to the LVG anniversary. I already spent enough on the congress.

Thank you lurker..thats what i thought in the beginning..but i thought the party pass would allow you to do all rooms..

I can imagine that awful bouncers being rude to people when they try to enter the room they are not allowed to.

I have a full pass so gonna meet the ny zoukeros haha

My guess is that If they do not make the party passes 'exclusive' to a particular event, they would not be able to afford to pay the bands. It's risky to do both events at the same time. 8 bands need to be paid...ouch

That makes sense from a promoter's perspective. I'm just a little wary as I wasn't digging the bachata artists at the recent DC Bachata Congress and headed over to the salsa and zouk/kizomba rooms when the bands were on.

Am thinking about going this year. Would be my first time, and would be serving as a "relaunch" back into dancing & salsa after a very long hiatus. Saw a lot of workshops I'd like to attend. Now it's just a matter of...which ones...fitting in the time...and money. :D
