I very much want to attend this one. My travel schedule is so uncertain that I won't be able to know till last minute. I was even talking to someone who has booked a room for room-share. I am still keeping my fingers crossed.
 
I work two blocks away and I could so see myself sneaking off every chance I get, but uggg, I'm too intermediate for you people. You'll have to wait for next year :P
 
I'll be there - not quite sure where i'm staying currently on a street corner unless my lot get their butts in gear and sort something out! lol!
 
I'm in town for a wedding so I'll only make the Friday evening. (I'm planning to sneak out of the rehearsal dinner early, heh.)

Oh, get over it. There are people of all levels at congresses. Plus I suspect you are underestimating yourself. NYC improves salser@s quickly.

Since when did being intermediate become not so good ? :D

Majority of the congress attendees fall into intermediate range anyways. You will be in good company. Tomorrow never comes :)
 
Yep, I'll be there from Friday through Monday. Staying at the hotel so I hope to meet a lot of you! :D

Yeah - I remember dancing with quite a few beginners and lower intermediates at last year's NY congress, and I'm sure you are much better.

SFO congress has really good pass+hotel deals, but I think it needs to be purchased now in Aug rather than later. So planning for SFO is best done now 3 months before the event :)

Oh, gosh. I was really crabby at driving to Oakland x3 last year. Maybe I should suck it up and do a hotel...
 
Hmm... A few subtle machinations and I'm off Thursday thru Monday!

Changed my tix already, heh. So potentially Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights at the Congress for me. w00t!

Yeah, I think Saturday's gonna have to be a miss. Although if you see a crazy lady in a bridesmaid's dress show up on the floor at 3 AM y'all can feel free to say hi. :lol:


Btw does anyone know the per-evening rate for social dancing? I see the all-evening pass is $90, I guess that should work out better than paying at the door each night for 3 nights?
