I like the "New timba" thread, seems we should have the same for salsa.

New single from Guaynaa, Caramelito


Writing credits to Omar Alfanno and one of the producers, Jean Carlos Santiago (edit: that's just Guaynaa's legal name). Name drops Tite Curet Alonso. If it's a cover I don't know the original, anyone?

I gave a quick listen to some songs from Mon Laferte's last album (last year), there's some really good stuff

Maybe we should be looking for a bolero revival rather than a salsa revival?

She also has chill salsa track on that album, Amantes suicidas (complete with piano solo!)

Apparently, Nathy Peluso recorded the song before (in English), very early in her career
