New Documentary about La Lupe

I've just noticed an interesting article in the newspaper 'The Guardian' about a new documentary about La Lupe. Anybody who's interested here's the link to the article:

La Lupe - Queen of Latin Soul will be screened at 7pm on Thursday October 9 at the Women's Library, London, E1. Information: untoldlondon.org.uk.

Beyond the film, Fania Records have already released Dance With the Queen, an "album of club remixes of her songs".

For those of you not familiar with her " work ", she records a lot of Rumba/ Boleros.... I reckon her to the Spanish Edith Piaf .
