Need Help with this song

I hear the MC saying, "Ray Ramos in the house!" about 1:30 into the clip. Could this be the artist? Perhaps this will help in identifying the song?
 
Hi. It's definately Ray Ramos. I think it's 'Si Volviera' taken from the CD - Ray Ramos y La Sonora - Yo Soy El Son. If not that track it is very similar. 8)

I'm going by what the two previous members said. I haven't been able to find it for download on Limewire. Is the version you have the same as the video clip? Where did you get it?

espinaldj. I too have the Raphy Leavitt - Somos El Son and in my opinion it is not the same song. I stick with what I said earlier. I think the artist is definately Ray Ramos and I think the track is Si Volviera. I have this song and it is very similar. :lol:

I would say without a shadow of a doubt that the band is Ray Ramos. The song you just sent me is another awesome song, but it is not the one I placed on the weblink. I have listened to it over and over and it looks to me by the lyrics that might be called "Ay Margot" or "Dile que Vuelva" The singer of the song you just sent me is definitely the same voice!
I've looked him up on Limewire but couldn't find much about his band; he must be pretty new. Thanks for all your help so far!

Hi again. Glad you liked the track. I did say it was very similar and not the exact track you were after. The chorus is almost the same. Well, I think so anyway. Ray Ramos is not a new artist. He has been around for a while. The CD I have of his, Yo Soy El Son was from 1987. He started recording in the early 80's, so has been around for sometime. I am looking for some of his other CDs and there are not many on the market. :lol:

Thanks for the tip. Any suggestions where I can find this track? I just love that song but I can't find anything of Ray Ramos on Amazon.com or any other website that offers MP3 downloads. Again, thanks a bunch

I think it's one of his first cd (1993).. great trumpet,bongo section with luis perico ortiz - H.G. productions , Bayside NY, maybe you can find more info in some store in the city..i'm in italy i can't help.. :-)
