Thanks for the advice! As to the bpm, I am honestly not sure how DJs count it...a friend of mine DJs and he uses every 2 beats, beats me why! I find, for simply teaching purposes, that a tempo between 145 and max 180 bpm is adequate. To slow and the students cant do the break long enough and too fast and they just get frustrated or they dont dance in the music at all...
