I've just noticed it's only 2 1/2 weeks till the MamboCity 5 Star Congress!

Anyone SFers planning to come? :)
 
So y'all invited to preparty during shows. :) I don't know where and when yet. I'm staying at Ibis, having party base in main hotel would be useful.

Poor partypassers are not allowed to go to shows :( :( :( so we'll dance kizomba in preparty or something.
 
I remember dancing in the Cuban room during the shows and it wasn't kizomba. Not sure how it is these days but then the only problem was the lack of people and not the lack of dance space and music. With Mac there you'll have at least one die-hard partner available :D
 
If you have purchased a party pass and not watching the shows, the Royal Room will be open from 8pm and the Connaught Room from 10pm where you will be able to dance until the shows are over."


I will take your word for it that Connaught Room with kizomba is not what it sounds like
 
I have not been there for a few years, I hope things have not changed since then. I guess Mac will have more recent info. Good luck :)
 
How did you guys do? I danced only with Mac couple dances and last two were a blast. :)

I felt tired, because of jetlag and training day, but good dancing was from 3am till 6am. The band did not really cut it last night. DJs played classics and overall it was more relaxing than I'm used to. Today I'm planning to go late, refuse bunch of dances, save strength and blast it till 6 or 6:30. The best social dancers yesterday were way above my head. But I can swim underwater for a time, I guess.
