Mambo Lounge, P-Town

Okay, so I'm forcing my cousin to come with me to the Mambo Lounge tomorrow night.
The address looks like it's very close to Viscount Studios..
Is it right above Viscount? and is the entrance fairly see-able, or is it small like Andrea's?
Any info is appreciated, I don't want to be poking into dark corners, ruining my new dancing shoes :D
 
The mambo lounge is in the same building as the viscount dance studios. The viscount dance studio entrance is on the north side of the building. To get to the mambo lounge just go to the west side of the building. There is a sign that says mambo lounge. I need to run - but I will PM you so you can recognize me.
 
So you missed the part where I got elbowed in the face!

The second gentleman I danced with decided to do a little move where he put his elbows up on my arms- ? and on the second arm, he caught me right in the mouth...(points for the element of surprise! :shock: )
Luckily, it didn't do any serious damage (I still have teeth)- we finished the dance.
It makes a good story!

Not a move I'm familiar with. Seems dumb to try weird stuff like that with a beginner. Hope you had fun the rest of the evening.
 
Yeah, I thought that myself- "can't he tell that I'm barely keeping up as it is?" whatever, I think he was really embarassed, and he certainly won't be trying that one on me again!

The night turned out great- I had no idea the place was so big!
I got to dance a lot- way better than lessons. I can't wait for next weekend!
 
Sirenita - sorry to hear you got elbowed! Totally sucks. But I'm glad you got out dancing!!

By the way - Snowdancer and Sirenita - I'm celebrating my birthday this friday at aztec willies. Show up if you can.

Sirenita: Terremoto's easy to spot. Just look among the best dancers there.

I'm going to try to make it, hopefully more successfully than last weekend. :?
