La Mafia del Guaguanco - Bobby Queseda

I have recently purchased the above cd. I love the titled track but half way through it sounds like there was a loose lead and in fact the quality all the way through is not great.

I've also listened to a clip of it on You Tube and it as same the sound quality issues at the places in track.

Does anyone know if a better quality version of this track is available?
 
Yes: switch to the vinyl records collection haha!

Joking... I don't have the Bobby Quesada vinyl, only the CD, so I can't assure that it would sound better.

Sometimes the vinyl has the same exact problem: such as Loco Y Contento by Ray Terrace.

Well, the MP3 available (illegally) on the Net sounds horrible.... and when I bought the vinyl.... it sounded the same :-(((((

that is what i feared - the original vinyl recording was dodgy. Would still be good to have this confirmed. Does anyone have the vinyl of Bobby Queseda - La Mafia del Guaguanco to verify the quality of the recording.

Loco y contento is another one of my favourites - mine sounds awful as well, but I still love it :-)
 
I have El Mafia del Guaguanco on vinyl, but it also has this recording glitch for about a second or so in the middle of the song.

Probably this was something that happened to the equipment while recording in studio.
I'm still glad we have the recording. After all, they could have canned it!
