GBSEx 08 is an international salsa spectacular taking place in just two weeks time in Manchester’s fabulous, gothic Town Hall. Slap bang in the middle of Manchester’s fashionable city centre, this venue offers a lavish and dramatic setting for what will be a 3-day salsa extravaganza - the first ever international dance festival held here!
This international 3 day salsa congress features over 90 hours of workshops, daytime social dancing, 3 nights of partying until the early hours, and showcases from the world’s most inspiring performers. Over 90 artists booked including giants of salsa, SANTO RICO, YAMULEE, AHTOY & DANIEL, THE COBO BROTHERS, PABLO & DIANA and many, many more. PLUS the not-to-be-missed warm-up Party on Thursday 20 November featuring the awesome HACHA Y MACHETE and including the UK premier of their new show, Cinturita. This is the first international dance festival to be held in Manchester’s spectacular Town Hall slap bang in the middle of the fashionable city centre and alongside the vibrant European Christmas markets. For dancers of all levels and styles, including beginners, this event will be a truly memorable, fun-packed salsa experience – don’t miss it!!!
Tickets are on sale from £79 and workshops are booking up fast with 12 now full so get your skates on! Please note there will be no individual night party or day tickets on sale for this event.
