Eddie Palmieri - Palo Pa Rumba and El Combo de Ayer - Swing

The second is El Swing, sounds like version by Combo de Ayer.

And the first is Palo pa' Rumba, not sure if it's Palmieri's version cause I don't have it with me and don't remember it well.

Re: Name of two songs

the first one is Palo pa'rumba - original by El Maestro Eddie Palmieri,
but this one i think is by some other group live...

the sesond one is like Slawek said - El Combo de Ayer - El swing (vocals by Pellin Rodriguez)

saludos

Slawek and Viejotecachango - thanks very much for the information. I just got the Eddie Palmieri song, and yes, it sounds different than the one in Taiti and Cristel's social dance (at the 2006 World Salsa Championships). Not sure who did that version of the song. But we did get treated to Johnny Pacheco live. Son De Cali from NJ/Cali Colombia has used El Combo de Ayer - "El swing" to great effect.
