Donations to Support SalsaForums Work?

I noticed that when the SF team was transitioning bulletin software, someone put up a place where members could donate to help support the development work. Do people think it would be beneficial to have a permanent PayPal donation button, where anyone who wanted to support SF work could donate to it?

I might be willing to put in a few extra bucks here and there, if it means that some new feature or change could be made to the forums sooner.

Actually, now that I think about it, my one reservation about such a thing is that it might be difficult for members to donate anonymously, if anonymity is something that is important to them.

Anonymity can be important. It's not too difficult to donate anonymously though and neither is it too hard to solicit it from those who wish anonymity.

Well, we can always keep the names of all the donors are secret and simpy thank them in private and with a general public statement.
